(2005-06) Over the course of a year I shot more than 30 movie scene reenactments alone in my apartment using whatever costumes and props were on hand. These crude reenactments are my effort to degrade and venerate the heroics of Hollywood movies. By working completely alone and utilizing the techniques of cinema in the simplest possible ways I hope to recreate narratives that are stripped of everything but the pathos inherent in consuming the medium.
